As I am sure you are aware the latest lockdown restrictions will result in us closing our doors to the public on Thursday November 5th for a period of 4 weeks. At this stage and based on the available advice from both Government, DCMS & the GBGB it is our belief that we are able to revert to racing behind closed doors for this period.
The latest closure does mean regrettably that we are unable to admit anybody into the Stadium other than licensed officials. This is hugely disappointing for us having worked so hard to successfully allow owners and spectators safely back to our track over the last few weeks. We are however completely committed to following the guidelines explicitly as we believe this offers us the best opportunity to allow our greyhounds to continue racing during this lockdown period.
As there are any changes to the position we will seek to update you at the earliest opportunity. We will be in contact in the coming days with those customers who have made bookings for the period of lockdown to arrange transfers or refunds.
Thank you for your patience, understanding and ongoing support. We will continue to do whatever we can to prioritise the safety of our staff and customers as well as the wellbeing of our greyhounds & our trainers through these difficult times.
Please stay safe and healthy and we hope to see you back at the Stadium in the near future.
2nd November 2020.
