Racing greyhounds can retire from the sport at any age and for a variety of reasons, but when they do the one thing, they have in common is looking for their forever sofa in their forever home. Here at Monmore Green, we look after our greyhounds very well during their sporting career and in their retirement.
We partner with a local greyhound trust who provide a home to our retired racers to ensure they are happy and healthy.
If you would like to re-home one of our lovely greyhounds, help by donating to this great cause or want to know more about greyhounds then visit the Wolverhampton Greyhound Trust HERE
Chester has lived in a home previously and is house trained. Whilst he was a loving pet around adults be did not like young children running past him.
He is a fun loving dog and good on his lead, enjoying his walks but he did not like meeting smaller dogs.
He could possibly live with a larger breed dog, but would be more suited to an adult only family who he would give lots of love.
Hi, I'm Dara. I am an excitable chap who can be a bit bouncy! I will need a firm hand on the lead to begin with to teach me some manners. I am affectionate and love people, which is why I get so excited to meet everyone! I am generally very playful, but I do also enjoy chilling out on my bed. An all round lovely boy.
Berris is new in the kennels and is currently being assessed.
Hiya, I'm Basil. I have quite an excitable personality! I briefly lived in a home but I am now unfortunately looking for a new family as me and their existing dog weren't getting on too well so I was struggling to settle in. Therefore, I am looking for a home with no other pets. I can be enthusiastic when out on walks so will need a firm hand. I have a playful nature and I'm always happy!
