Retired Greyhounds

GREYHOUNDS MAKE WONDERFUL PETS

Racing greyhounds can retire from the sport at any age and for a variety of reasons, but when they do the one thing, they have in common is looking for their forever sofa in their forever home. Here at Monmore Green, we look after our greyhounds very well during their sporting career and in their retirement.

We partner with a local greyhound trust who provide a home to our retired racers to ensure they are happy and healthy.

If you would like to re-home one of our lovely greyhounds, help by donating to this great cause or want to know more about greyhounds then visit the Wolverhampton Greyhound Trust HERE

Hi, My name is Chester

Hi, My name is Chester

Chester has lived in a home previously and is house trained. Whilst he was a loving pet around adults be did not like young children running past him.

He is a fun loving dog and good on his lead, enjoying his walks but he did not like meeting smaller dogs.

He could possibly live with a larger breed dog, but would be more suited to an adult only family who he would give lots of love.

Hi, My Name is Supreme

Hi, my name is Supreme. I am a gorgeous boy who attracts a lot of attention with my lovely markings. I can be quite strong on the lead and excitable around other animals, so will need a firm hand while out and about on walks. I would prefer a home with no other animals. I am generally quite chilled out, so much so that I can never really be bothered to get off my bed in the kennels! I love spending my day curled up having a nap. I am a lovely dog who will make a great family pet.

Hi my kennel name is Solly and people tell me that I have a beautiful coat that is black with white flecks. I am a happy fun loving dog and enjoy being around people.

I love my walks around the field, but do not think I would like to live in a house that has small animals.

Hi, My name is Lailah

Hiya, my name is Lailah. I have quite an excitable personality meaning I can sometimes be a little bit strong on my lead when I see other dogs while out and about on walks. I am very friendly and have a super waggy tail. I share my kennel happily with another hound and we share a bed with no problems. I am a lovely girl who needs a home with no smaller pets.

Hi, My name is Basil

Hiya, I'm Basil. I have quite an excitable personality! I briefly lived in a home but I am now unfortunately looking for a new family as me and their existing dog weren't getting on too well so I was struggling to settle in. Therefore, I am looking for a home with no other pets. I can be enthusiastic when out on walks so will need a firm hand. I have a playful nature and I'm always happy!
