The top six Open trainers from last year will do battle here at Monmore for the coveted Judgment Night trophy, now named in honour of the former Premier Greyhound Racing chair Lord David Lipsey. The handlers invited to participate in the six-race, six-trainer shootout are Mark Wallis, Patrick Janssens, Kevin Hutton, Maxine Locke, Monmore’s own Nathan Hunt and Tom Heilbron. Should any trainers withdraw, an invitation will be extended to seventh-placed Paul Young and then Richard Rees, eighth in the GBGB Trainer of the Year standings in 2025.
